Managing Partner
Johnny has over 25 years experience in practice with a considerable range of knowledge from sole trader to SME audit, advisory, tax compliance & planning and corporate finance.
He was awarded the Chartered Accountants Ireland Diploma in Forensic Accounting, passing with Distinction. This further enables him to provide helpful and practical advice and information to clients in relation to matrimonial disputes, companies needing forensic accounting expertise, litigation support or personal injury cases.

- Member of the Audit Committee of Dublin City Council 2014 to 2024;
- Treasurer of the Dockland Business Forum since 2012;
- President of Accounting Technicians Ireland 2018/2019;
- Chairman on the Chartered Accountants Ireland Leinster Society for 2012/13;
- Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland;
- Fellow of the Institute of Accounting Technicians in Ireland, and
- Member of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland.

John trained in Reynolds McCarren (now Ernst & Young) qualifying as a chartered accountant. He later became a partner in John McElhinney & Co.
In 1987, he was invited to join the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland Taxation Committee-South and served for five years. He has lectured on share valuation for Chartered Accountants Ireland and has had articles published by CAI and the Irish Tax Institute.
A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, John specialises in the valuation of unquoted shares, partial interests in property, estate & inheritance tax planning. and related Revenue Audits.
